Integral Wild West
So I'm sure most of you out there have read Wilber's recent blog post on critics. It is interesting and pretty weird to say the least. The more I think about it the more I wonder if it just another attempt at an SD integral Voight-Kampff Test ala Blade Runner ala the essay written to gauge responses of David Deida's Ken Wilber is a Fraud essay years back. If you are 'blue' you reacted this way...if you are 'orange' this is the typical response...I'm sure it is only a matter of days before the posts at integral blogs and maybe even Wilber's start to analyse and frame everyone's responses in terms of SD. Oh yeah wait Wilber already did it when he offered the quick and easy 'Green' self-test in his blog post. Hmm I wonder what this post which is itself actually on the categorization of other's responses would be categorized? Probably Green given I'm not responding with resounding laughter and the 'integral I totally get him on this one' response and support that is surely out there in blogland. Tis all skillful means right?
Most of it actually is pretty laughable, Wilber as Wyatt Earp - although I think The Gunslinger from Westworld (written and directed by Wilber's buddy Michael Critchon) played by Yul Brenner would be a better choice - at least aesthically (:-). And I guess if Wilber is Earp then that makes Stuart Davis Doc Holliday no? hehe just jokes. Speaking of which, who did you like better...Val Kilmer or Dennis Quaid as Doc Holliday? That's a tough call but I think Wyatt Earp was the better film compared to Tombstone. So who could be Johnny Ringo in Wilberworld? Hmmm...I guess given his post probably Jeff Meyerhoff although Geoffrey Falk would be a close second but Wilber never brings up his name in his response. You would think Ringo would be Visser from Wilber's six shooter barage on Frank, who I think is constantly getting a raw deal in all this. Oh well the old integral West is a tough place to express and provide a forum for critical views it seems. I wonder how Frank will respond - with a Winchester or double barreled shotgun?

val kilmer is WAY better as doc holiday...that was one of the best characters ever and you know that wasn't written into the script, Kilmer invented doc holiday.
